Welcome! Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially when life feels heavy or overwhelming. Whether you're feeling stuck, stressed, or just not like yourself lately, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
I earned my LLMSW from Grand Valley State University, and throughout my training, I was especially drawn to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I work with children, young adults, and adults. As your therapist, I will show up at every session as compassionate, validating, authentic, non-judgmental, and direct.
Therapy with me is a mix of real, honest conversations and moments of lightness and joy. We’ll work through the tough stuff together, but we’ll also take time to celebrate your wins, no matter how small they might seem. I’m all in when it comes to this work, but I also keep things relaxed and approachable so you can be authentically yourself.
In therapy, my role is to guide you in identifying patterns that may be holding you back, building emotional resilience, and making meaningful, lasting change while helping to keep you accountable. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a true partnership. When you feel safe and supported, the hard work starts to feel less scary, and that’s when real change happens.
I will offer both virtual and in-person sessions at our Grand Haven location. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your mental health journey.
